Biography

Walter Agnew was born May 1863 in Canada West^[1] to James Agnew and Ann Stephenson^[2][3]. He was a Farmer in Sullivan Township, Grey County, Ontario^[1][4] .
Walter married Leah Ellen Pamperin, known as Ellen, on 6 Mar 1884 in Chesley, Ontario, Canada^[5]. The couple had 7 children^[6] :

Walter died in Oct^[6] 1939^[13] and is buried in Chesley cemetery^[13].

Research Notes

• The 1911 census^[1] shows Annie being born in Sep 1892 but the delayed birth certificate^[10] (registered in 1938) shows her being born on 10 Sep 1891. The census being the earlier document, has been given more credibility and a birth date of 10 Sep 1892 has been used but that may well be wrong.
