Biography

John Francis was born in 1884 in Chicago, Cook, Illinois. He was the son of James Ninian Agnew and Ruth Caroline Langston.^[1]

When John Francis was 31 he married Alma Lillian Taylor on 29 January 1913 in Chicago, Cook. The couple had 3 children: Frances Agnew, John F Agnew and Thomas T Agnew.^[1][2]

In the 1920 census John Francis (age 37) was living in Chicago Ward 33, Cook (Chicago), Illinois.^[3]

In the 1930 census John Francis (age 48) was living in Chicago, Cook, Illinois. Age: 46Marital Status: Married; Relation to Head of House: Head^[4]
