Biography
Patrick Agnew, 1st of Sheuchan was the son of Sir Patrick Agnew of Lochnaw, 1st Bt. and Margaret Kennedy. He married Elizabeth Gordon 1609–1685, daughter of William Gordon of Craighlaw.
Children:
- Andrew Agnew, 2nd of Sheuchan: He married unknown MacDowall (of Logan)
- Robert Agnew, 3rd of Sheuchan
- Jean Agnew: She married John Blair of Dunskey in 1667.
- Margaret Agnew 1657–1715: She married Alexander Adair, 1652-1680, in June 2 1673.
