Born in 1921 in Crystal Springs, Mississippi. Married 26th of June in West Baton Rouge Parish to Roy Lee Knapp by F H Dunlap, JP. Residence in Jackson, MS until circa 1935 when the family moved to E. Baton Rouge Parish. Four children were born to the marriage, Carole Jean, Patrick Gail, Glen Melvin and Linda Madeline. She died of complications from a stroke in 1986 in Baton Rouge, LA and is buried at Resthaven Cemetery in Baton Rouge.
