Biography
Aleta was the youngest of six children born to Jacob Anderson and Sarah Elizabeth Akers. Her siblings were Virgil Clifford, Carmel Joseph, Vester Jacob, Iva Ann Nancy and Inez Lillian.
She married Ralph Enlow on January 5, 1929 in Kansas City, Missouri. They had one daughter, Darlene Sandra raised in Shawnee, Kansas. After high school Darlene moved to California after becoming a cast member of the popular "Jackie Gleason Show". Her parents soon followed and moved to La Crescenta, California where Aleta was a real estate broker and owned an antique store. Darlene married and blessed Aleta and Ralph with a grandson. Years later they all retired and returned to Mildred, Kansas.
Aleta was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Order of True Kindred Auxiliary. She also was a charter member of the First Baptist Church of Clinton, Missouri.
