Biography

Elizabeth Akers, daughter of William Akers and Nancy (Sowers) Akers, was born in 1817 in Montgomery County, Virginia.[1]

She married John Humphrey Reed, son of Humphrey Reed and Sarah Reed,[1]

She and John appeared on the census of 5 Aug. 1850 at District 15, Floyd, Virginia.[2] She and John appeared on the census of 28 Aug. 1860 at Floyd, Virginia.[3]

Elizabeth was buried at Old Reed Cemetery, Jasper, Lee County, Virginia. Her memorial has biographical material and links to those of family members.[1]
