Biography
When Daniel AKERS was born on April 26, 1822, in Floyd County, Kentucky, his father, David, was 18 and his mother, Elizabeth, was 15. He married Arta JUSTICE Akers on October 11, 1843, in Floyd County, Kentucky. He died on September 25, 1870, in Floyd County, Kentucky. If the age in the 1850 census record (28 years) is correct, then he would have been about 48 years old at the time of his death.
