Biography

Cub was Chickasaw.

Isaac "Cub" Albertson was born about 1882

A previous version of this profile claimed he was son of Elvira Keiffer with whom he was enumerated in 1920 in Oklahoma. [1] But he is not identified as son on that census, but as a lodger.

His FamilySearch profile claims, without source, that his parents were Wilburn Alberson (1860–1890) and Elizabeth Jefferson (1855–1919) and that he was Chickasaw. (His 1910 marriage record associates him with Silo, Oklahoma, which was part of Chickasaw Nation.)

If he was the husband of Martha Clapp, then his given name was Isaac. They married in 1910.[2] This record refers to his race as "red" and his origins as Bryan, Oklahoma.

He registered for the draft during World War I, at which time he recorded he was an Indian citizen, born 30 Jan 1886.[3]

Research Notes

Per the only record I have been able to find, he is Indian/Native America. See the 1920 Census.

His FamlySearch Tree profile indicates (with sources) that he'd been previously married to Lena Carroll by whom he had at least one daughter, Rirers Maurine. This same profile claims, without source, that he died 24 Sep 1929.
