Biography
THEOBALD DEWALD ALBRECHT, Sr. was born in March 1759.[1][2]
Theobald was married to Susanna Catharine Schmoyer. Susanna was born April 1763.
He served as a private in Captain John Trexler's company, Colonel Stephen Balliet's regiment, Northampton County, Pennsylvania militia. [3]
Theobald passed away in October 1811 at the age of 52. He is buried at the Lehigh Zion Cemetery of the Zion Lehigh Evangelical Lutheran Church, Alburtis, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. [4]
Susanna died 1817 at about 54 years. [5] She is buried at the Lehigh Zion Cemetery, Alburtis, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. [6]

Descendants of Philip and Ann Christina (Clapp) Albright were the progenitors of most of the Albrights who lived in Preble and Darke Counties, Ohio. [7]
Johannes Albrecht who was born about 1695 in Germany had descendants in Preble County and Darke County, Ohio. Johannes Albrecht and his family arrived at the port of Philadelphia on 18 September 1732 aboard the galley, Pink Johnson, with David Crockatt, Master. They settled in Bern Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania.

::1. Philip Albrecht/Albright (s/o Ludwick) was born 13 February 1756 in Guilford County, North Carolina. He married Anna Christina (Christine) Clapp, 10 October 1780. Philip and Christine moved to Campbell County, Tennessee in 1800 and to Preble Co., Ohio about 1805. Philip died 22 November 1820 in Preble County, Ohio and is buried at Roselawn Cemetery at Lewisburg. Christine died 29 December 1817 and is also buried buried at the Roselawn Cemetery.
