Biography
Matthäus or Mathias, as he is later called, was born in 1792 in Christianberg, Bohemia, now Křišťanov, Czech Republic.[1] He was the son of Karl Albrecht and Maria Schmidin. He married Maria Traxlerin 30 Jun 1813 in Christianberg.[2]
