Charles ALCHIN, son of Ambrose ALCHIN and Ann WATERHOUSE, was born on 15 April 1837 in Staplehurst, Kent, England, United Kingdom and died on 2 July 1908 in Gunning, New South Wales, Australia at age 71. The cause of his death was from pneumonia.

Charles married Mary STEAR on 22 March 1860 in Gunning, Colony of New South Wales.

Mary was born in 1843 in Devon, England, United Kingdom and died on 2 September 1897 in Jerrawa, Colony of New South Wales at age 54.

Charles Alchin arrived in Australia with his parents and siblings in 1838 on the Palmyra. ^[1]
