Elizabeth Wrightman[citation needed] may have been born around 1608 in England (Warwickshire was previously stated without sources) but her origins are unknown as is information about her marriage to John Alcock.
Torrey in "New England Marriages" says this, indicating that her name was not known and that marriage by 1632 is only speculation:
ALCOCK, John (-ca 1675) & Elizabeth ____; by 1632?; York, ME {Reg. 36:400+; Coltman Anc. 4; York Hist. 1:114; GDMNH 59, 60; Banks 14; Sv. 1:21; Kittery 275; Durham NH 2:225; NYGBR 42:442}[1]
Assuming she immigrated with husband John Alcock, she likely arrived between 1635 and 1639.
Her last documented appearance found so far was at the division of her husband's estate in 1675; her final fate is not known.[2]

“Joseph Bane, who had been taken prisoner in the raid on York in 1692, in a deposition concerning Madockawando in 1736: He was with Theodore Atkinson, said Atkinson’s wife, and Mrs. Elizabeth Alcock of Portsmouth, widow, and many others at the home of Joseph Moulton of York… when they were taken captive by a large number of Indians. Madockawando commanded Atkinson to write to the MA Governor to send a ship to Sagadahock [Maine] with goods to redeem the captives. This was done and Atkinson, his wife, and 40 more were released.”
