Isaac Alden, the son of Joseph Alden and Mary Simmons was born about 1666 in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. He died June 24, 1727, at Bridgewater. He married his wife, Mehitabel Allen on December 2, 1685. They had nine children. She survived him.[1]

His will is dated 24 April 1727 and proved on 30 October 1727 in Plymouth. He mentions, his wife Mehitabel, his three sons, Isaac, Ebenezer, and John, and his grandchildren, Joseph Richards, Daniel Richards, James Richards, Mehitable Richards, and Sarah Richards (children of his deceased daughter Mehitable Richards), and his four surviving daughters, Sarah Cary, Mary Webb, Mercy Packard, and Jemima Alden. His inventory records his death as 24 June 1727 and was taken on 26 July 1727 in Bridgewater.[2]
