Biography

Mercy Alden, the daughter of Joseph Alden and Mary Simmons, was born about 1668 or 1669 at Bridgewater, Plymouth Colony. She married John Burrill at Taunton, Massachusetts on June 26, 1688. They had 5 children. The family lived at Weymouth, Massachusetts. She probably died there, although there is no record of her death. She died after her husband John made his will on July 28, 1727.

Plymouth is correct for the time frame. It didn't legally become part of Massachusetts until 1691.
