Biography

Mary Suda "Sudie" Alexander Potter was the daughter of John Hendrix Alexander and Emma Perlona Hall Alexander. She was the wife of E.D. Potter. Only one of her children survived infancy, Helen. Sudie died of uremic poisoning during childbirth. Her husband died two years later, leaving Helen an orphan.
