Together they became the parents of Uhland A. Dixon, Kenneth Robert Dixon, twins Rayford and Clifford "Ford" Dixon, Bessie Marie Dixon and Frank Madden Dixon.
Sophia passed away on 10 February 1958 in Jacksonville, Cherokee Co., Texas and was buried at Jacksonville City Cemetery in Jacksonville.
