Obituary

Frederick W. Alexander, Willard Cross Rd., died unexpectedly Tuesday night.

He would have reached his 81st birthday Monday.

Mr. Alexander was stricken at his home. He was taken to the Massena Memorial Hospital in the Donaldson ambulance, where he was declared dead on arrival. The body was brought to the Donaldson' Funeral Home and then taken to the- family home where friends may call. Funeral services will lie held at the family home Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Rev., Michael Lynch, rector of-St. John's.Episcopal Church, will officiate and burial will be made hi Louisville Community Cemetery.

Mr. Alexander had been in his usual health. He called The Observer a few weeks ago and reported having seen the first robin. He retired from farming about ten years ago.

He was born Apr. 4, .1885, in Louisville, a son of William and Mattie Andrews Alexander;. He attended Louisville schools and married Miss Edith Whalen Sept. 15, 1906. The Rev. Frederick Eastman officiated at the wedding in the home of the bride's parents at Louisville Landing.

Surviving are his wife; two sons, Ralph W. Alexander and Charles Glendyn Alexander both of Louisville; nine grand children and two great-grand- children.
