A note to alleviate confusion. An Elizabeth Alexander was b 1735. She was the daughter of Archibald 1708 and Margaret Parks b 1713. This Elizabeth married a John McClung b 1731. His father was likely William b 1706. William was one of three sons of the father of James 1700 and John 1705. So many names arise in these lines that care is needed.
