Biography
George’s attestation papers indicate that he was born 21st November 1890 at Clevedon[1]. He is married to Caroline Casley and has two children named Jeffrey and Donald. He was admitted to hospital on the 2nd November 1918 and was there for 15 days with a severe case of influenza and pneumonia. His record indicates that he died in the hospital.
“DIED at Featherston Military Hospital 12.50 p.m. 16.11.18, and is accordingly struck off the strength of his Unit in F.R.O. 986 part 2 para. 10, 19.11.18”
