Biography

New Zealand
John Alexander lived in Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand.

John Miller Alexander was born in 1884. He was the second (and possibly twin) son of William Francis Alexander, a storekeeper, and his wife, Elizabeth Sarah Phillips.

When he was young his father had a horse riding accident and was subsequently kicked in the head, which saw him in and out of mental institutions.

His mother Elizabeth passed away on 22 March 1910 at about age 50.

John was employed as a Labourer when he passed away on 16 November 1921 at the age of 37, probably unmarried, and was buried on Friday, 18 November 1921 at Sydenham Cemetery, Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand[1][2]. .Block number: 26C, Plot number: 24
