Biography

James Wallace Alexander was born 1885 in Tyrrell County, North Carolina. James was the son of John Alexander and Malissia Basnight Alexander.

James married Keziah "Kissi" Ann Basnight in 1905. James and Kissi were the parents of 3 documented children.

James passed away in 1955 at the age of 70. He was buried in the Old Hollywood Cemetery in Elizabeth City, Pasquotank County, North Carolina.
