George Norbury Mackenzie shows George Alexander of Northfield and Northampton, Massachusets, to have been born in Scotland, date unknown, the brother of John and Thomas, and son of a John Alexander, born in Scotland circa 1615, who came to Massachusetts prior to 1644 and later settled at Windsor in the Connecticut Valley. [1]
Since George's father John is presented with a birth year of 1615, it is unlikely he had a son until he was aged 20 in 1635. Therefore estimate George's birth as 1635, which would make him a boy of 8 at his arrival in Massachusetts in 1643, and aged 68 at his death in 1703.
George Alexander arrived in Massachusetts ca. 1643.[2]
George Alexander married Su[sannah] Sage in Windsor, Connecticut, on 18 March 1643/4. She died 5 May 1684. [1]
Northampton, Massachusetts, was settled in 1654, and George Alexander, the father of Mary, was one of the original proprietors.
George Alexander died 5 May 1703 in Northfield, Massachusetts.[3][4]
The children of George and Susannah Alexander are reported in several sources.

I suppose the disconnect has to stay since there is no sizzling documentation, maybe more looking can be inspired!
From what I can gather, the original intent of the profile of John that had been linked was that it be the profile for George's father. Someone had added specific places in Scotland, for which I see no source, and a death date from another John Alexander who migrated to Virginia, so I've stripped this information out of that John profile. Since the original purpose of that John profile was to be the father of George, I think the citation from Mackenzie is enough to justify re-linking it. Stripping out the fake information that had been added to it then gives clarity to what it might be merged with, and what not.
