Biography

Nancy "Nannie," daughter of Jasper and Jane Alexander, was born in Madison County, Kentucky, in 1868. She was the sister of John, Gilford, Ann, Alford, Arthur, and Rankin. Nannie married James Lamb in 1882. She was the mother of Earless, Carlass, Carvie, Carse, Nettie, Millard, Dollie and Rolley (twins). Her husband was a farmer in the Blue Lick area of Madison County, Kentucky. Nannie is buried by her husband in the Red Lick Cemetery in Madison County.
