Biography

Henry Alger was born in Bermondsey in 1870, he was the son of George Alger and Sarah Messenger [1]

He was baptised in Christ Church, Bermondsey on 26 February 1871, the family were living at 1 Cranbourne Passage, and his father George was a bootmaker [2]

Henry died in Bermondsey at the end of 1871, he was 1 year old [3]
