Margaret Algeo was born about 1830 ^[1] in Mallaughfins, County Donegal, Ireland & baptised 31st January 1830 ^[1] at the Church of Ireland, Raphoe, County Donegal, Ireland, the daughter of John Algeo & Mary Snodgrass.

Margaret Algie met William Watson around 1853 in Renfrewshire, Scotland. Their relationship produced 3 children, William, Margaret & Robert.
