Biography
Mettie M Allen was enumerated as daughter of the head of household in ED 95 Precinct 20, Red Apple, Boaz, Marshall County, Alabama for the June 5, United States Census, 1900. She was noted as born November 1881 in Georgia and single. Also included in the household are head James R Allen, wife Anne N Allen, daughter Ora J Allen, daughter Cara L Allen, daughter Ethal Allen and son Willie H Allen as seen in an image of the original census.[1]
Mittie M Law was enumerated as boarder (daughter) of the head of household at 155 West Baker Street, Ward 6, Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia for the April 28, United States Census, 1910. She was noted as born 1883 in Georgia and married as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Nancy A Allen, son William H Allen, daughter Ethel A Allen, boarder (son-in-law) Penn S Law, boarder (daughter) Ora J Law, boarder (grandson) Russell A Law, daughter (granddaughter) Edna A Law, boarder (son-in-law) William P Law, boarder John F Hollingsworth, boarder Calvin V Herren, boarder John L Arnold, boarder Thomas W Arwood, boarder John M Mullin and boarder (brother) Emory P Dodd.[2]
