Margaret ALLEN [1] was born bef. 7 Nov 1562 in Chester, Cheshire, England. She died Nov, 1651 in Bruen, Stapleford, Cheshire, England and was buried 29 Nov 1651 in St. Andrew Church yard, Tarvin, Cheshire, England.

Margaret married John BRUEN Esquire on 13 May 1612 in Bruen, Stapleford, Cheshire, England.

The Bruens attended the St Andrew's Church at Tarvin, it is in the village of Tarvin, Cheshire, England, about 6 miles east of Chester.

St. Andrew (Church of England) at Tarvin. An ancient parish church, originally serving the townships of Ashton, Bruen Stapleford, Burton (near Tarvin), Clotton Hoofield, Duddon, Foulk Stapleford, Hockenhull, Horton cum Peel, Kelsall, Mouldsworth and Tarvin. Extended in 1964 to include Prior's Heys. Registers of Baptisms 1563–1926, Marriages 1563–1999 and Burials 1563–1993 have been deposited at the Cheshire Record Office. Margaret's birth date will have been later than is shown here. She and her second husband John Bruen, https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Bruen-32, married in 1612 and had children in 1612 and 1614, plus - according to John Bruen's funeral certificate - other children who died young. (See John Bruen's profile.) If she was born in the early 1560s she would have been too old for this. This suggests strongly that the 1562 London baptism record is for someone different. Margaret's father was a Chester draper and sheriff, not a Londoner.

Why was Allen-11526 merged into Rutter-100?

Margaret's last name at birth was Allen. Rutter was the surname of her first husband.
