Jackamiah Allen (son)

Jackamiah Allen is not included in his father's will. However, the 1790 Amherst County Heads of Families census shows 10 White and 15 Black.[1] The 10th person would be Jackamiah. Jackamiah consistantly lists "1782, Virginia" for his birth on census reports. It appears he had a falling out with his father and left before Samuel's will was written. Jackamiah appears several years later in Pennsylvania and then is married in Wellsburg, Va in 1809. He and his family moved west to Ohio and later on to Illinois.

Noticed a descendant with a middle name Spencer. Stephen Allen was probably married to Ann Spencer. Might want to check the court records about the dispute involving the father of Margaret and her husband Stephen Allen.
