Biography
Born at Dartmouth, Mass., April 6, 1734; married Betsey Edy of Dartmouth, published November 27, 1756. Died before 1779, when his father's will refers to him as deceased.

Full text of "George Allen of Weymouth, ... Lynn, and Sandwich, Mass. [1635]-48, together with some of his descendants." incorrectly has this Adam Allen married first to Dinah Tobay.[1] This Adam Allen did not marry Dinah Tobey. See Dartmouth Marriages where it says, Adam Allen, "Negro man belonging to Mr. Benjamin Allen" and Dinah Tobey [int. Toby, both of Dartmouth] December 12, 1751.
