The wife of Joseph Couch, Anna/Nancy, was not this Nancy Allen. It is true that an Elijah Watson Couch of a different generation married a Nancy Allen, but that has nothing to do with this Nancy Allen. The wife of Joseph Couch (about 1750-1811 Laurens Co, SC) is likely Anna Watson (she chose Elijah Watson as co-administrator on the estate of Joseph Couch) or Anna Calloway (several children, grandchildren, etc. have Calloway in their name.
It is doubtful that Rueben, Beverly and Joseph Allen are children of this Benjamin Allen. All of these individuals are found in tax lists and other records of Wake County, North Carolina from the 1770's through about 1790 when they, along with Benjamin, began to migrate to Wilkes County, Georgia and later Elbert County.
