He was born on 17 Dec 1789 in Baie Verte, Westmorland County, New Brunswick, Canada and was the son of Eva Magdalena (Somers) and Benjamin Allen, Jr.

Allen-11265 and Allen-16125 are not ready to be merged because: I'm not convinced that the parents of David's parents (i.e. the parents of Shy Ben) are accurate as listed for Allen-11265. Allen-16125 has no grandfather listed for this reason.
