Biography
John Nelson Allen was born on April 4, 1831 in Cape Tormentine, New Brunswick.[1] He was the son of Benjamin Allen and Phoebe Trenholm.
John Nelson first married Phoebe Jane Allen (date unknown). Following her death in 1852, he married Cynthia McKay, on July 20, 1853.[2] John was a farmer.
