Biography

Ephraim Allen was born on January 14, 1735 in Bridgewater, Plymouth, Massachusetts. His parents were Benjamin Allen and Mehitable Cary.

In 1750, Ephraim Cary of Bridgewater was appointed to be his guardian.[1][2]

He married Elizabeth Woods on March 16, 1758

Together they had 7 children:
