Biography
Daughter of Shelton Earl Allen and Victoria Elbadore OMary, born in Brunswick, Chariton, Missouri on March 18th, 1890. She's first seen on a Census record with her family age 10. [1]
Suda "Susie" Victoria Allen married several times. When she marries Arthur Randolph Gordon Thorpe at age 23, her marriage license shows her as widowed. Her first husband may be Raymond Dyas? (More research is needed). His parents were Harry Thorpe and Elizabeth Paling. Arthur and Suda had a son named Gordon Thorpe Jr. born in 1916, Canada.
By 1921, she is remarried to John Black and they had a daughter named Bonnie "Betty" Black. At this time they lived in San Francisco.
However, by 1930, she's married again, to Glenn Powell and they had a child named Aurora Powell. US census 1930 Birth Record for Aurora, Father not listed
Susie passed in May 19th, 1956 in San Francisco, California. Death Record
