Noah Allen was born about 12 Sep 1734 in Northampton, Hampshire County, Province of Massachusetts Bay, son of Samuel Allen and Hannah (Miller) Jones. [1] [2]

Noah married Sarah Knapp on 29 Sep 1756 in Norfolk, Litchfield, Connecticut.

Their son was Ezra Allen, b. 1758.

Noah died on the 4th of July 1822 in Tyringham, Berkshire County, Massachusetts, United States aged 87.

He is buried in Woods Cemetery, Monterey, Massachusetts. [3]

Revolutionary War Record

Lieutenant, Capt. Moses Soule's company, Col. John Fellows's regiment, which marched April 21, 1775, on the alarm of April 19, 1775. Col. Asa Whitcomb's regiment in 1776. Promoted to Captain Oct. 1, 1776, and re-engaged Nov. 14, 1776, in Col. Edward Wigglesworth's regiment.
