McEver Melvin Allen was born on February 22, 1913. His parents were Cicero Clinton Allen (1883 - 1943) and Malinda Arah (McEver) Allen (1884 - 1966).

McEver married Gladys Culpepper on 18 Sep 1941 in , Hall, Georgia, USA.^[1]

McEver died on September 5, 1995 in Arvada, Jefferson, Colorado aged 82.^[2]
