According to the 1880 US Census for Dement, Ogle County, Illinois, John and Mary had four daughters and one son -- Annie, Lucy, Frank, Lizzie and Nellie --at that time. Also, according to the 1880 US Census for Dement, Ogle County, Illinois, there was another farmer, George Berkshire, living in their household at then. John passed away after 1880.
