P.S. I've found the best way to research my family in WikiTree is to post what I know and connect to existing profiles when I find them.
I found the learning curve fairly steep at WikiTree, but it goes fast. The more you play, the easier it gets, and the WikiTree community is wonderfully supportive.
If you're new to Wiki or new to genealogy, Intro to WikiTree has some basics for WikiTree; Cyndi's List has beginning genealogy info.
I'm glad you found us. To become a full member (aka Wiki Genealogist), youll need to sign the Honor Code. For a list of helpful links, please click my name and check out the links under my "Greeter" section especially the Sources links and the link to my fellow greeter Debby, who has helpful information on her profile page also.
If you get stuck on anything and can't find an answer in Help (upper right on a WikiTree page), you can post to the G2G forum or give me a holler.
Thank you for joining our collaborative tree!
Remember that our mission is to build a global tree with just one profile per person, so please look for duplicates before adding a profile.
I hope you're enjoying WikiTree.
Our vision is to build a collaborative tree. Be sure to look for Duplicates before adding a profile, and always include Sources for your information.
