Biography

Almira Allen was born to John Chancy Allen and Sarah Rebecca Lister on May 12, 1912 in Panguitch, Garfield, County, Utah. On October 28, 1928 Almira was joined in marriage to Arnold Henry Smith in Tropic, Garfield County, Utah.

Almira passed away August 12, 1962 after being involved in a fatal car accident that left her youngest daughter, Dianne, in traction for several weeks.^[1]

Myra was one of Arnold's wives. They were both members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (mormons). "Myra and her son Allen were both excommunicated from the church when my mother was a child. Myra passed when my mother was a child as well."
