Biography

Helen Allen, daughter of Judge Nicholas Allen and Susan Paine, was born on Nov 1 1883, in Rhea County Tennessee. ^[1][2] The family moved to Athens, McMinn TN, where her father cotinued his law career and Helen never married. She took employment with the Athens Post Office, was a member of the Athens Woman's Club, and once served as regent for the local DAR.^[1]

She passed away suddenly on 7 March 1956 in Athens. ^[3]
