Sarah Parker Allen was born about 1808, the daughter of William Harland Allen and Ruth (Parker) Allen.[1] Her mother, Ruth, was the daughter of Hon. John Avery Parker and Averie (Standish) Parker, who was a descendant in the sixth generation from Capt. Miles Standish. [2]
