Biography

From FAG: Eunice was born 5 Dec 1738 daughter of Job Allen and Christiana Ward of Hanover, Morris County, New Jersey. Eunice Allen married 23 Apr 1758 David Cory (Morristown Presbyterian Church Record). Eunice’s death is recorded in the Allen Record of the New Jersey Genealogical Magazine Vols 13-16, "as before 1768." However, in the bible record of her son, Job Cory is written "Eunice Cory died 7 December 1776." The latter is assumed to be the correct date, as David Cory married two years later on 28 January 1779, Rachel Dallas (Parsippany Church Record).
