Biography

James Allen/Allin (-1676), of Dedham, Massachusetts, was the grandson of Reginald Allen, of Colby, Norfolk, England, and the nephew of Rev. John Allen.[1]

Unfortunately, no one knows which son of Reginald was his father. He was called Samuel on this profile, but Reginald had no son named Samuel.

Margaret Wyatt was married to Richard Allen. They were not the parents of a Samuel Allen. James Allen, of Dedham, b. 1614 is supposedly the grandson of Reginald Allen, but Reginald I don't think had a son Samuel. I would like to disconnect Margaret Wyatt and then rename Samuel "Unknown" and then attach "Unknown" as son of Reginald.

DO NOT MERGE Allen-1644 and All4n-3941. Although these men have the same father, they have different mothers and their sons, both James, have different dates, wives and children. Which one of these Samuels is the son of Reginald?
