Biography

Lois Allen was born on June 6, 1748, in Rockaway, Morris, New Jersey.[1] Her parents were Job Allen and Christiana Ward.

She married Daniel Talmage on 21 December 1766 in Morristown, New Jersey.[2]

She and Daniel had the following children:

  1. Job Talmadge
  2. Enos Talmage
  3. Thomas Talmage

She married second John Harriman.[3]

She died around 1796.[4]

Research Notes

  1. Her first name has a few variations, Lois, Louisa, Loisa
  2. The Talmadge name has spelling variations.

Thank you for looking at this! Since you are profile manager of Allen-4370, can you please provide a source for the date 1845. The 1796 death date is the date reported on a couple of DAR membership forms. They are the same person. An exact death date hasn't been found yet.
