Notes

Find A Grave Memorial# 58204619, at one point included links to parents, which are incorrect. She is not the daughter of David Allen listed there and he was never married to a Deliverance Allen. She was born too early to have been a daughter of his first wife, Sarah - and is not listed as one of David and Sarah's children in any sources.

From Wikitree member Alton Rogers: I am in the process of comparing Wikitree data against that of my copy of the Mayflower Families 'silver book' (Vol. 17) for William White descendants, and have already reviewed this family, but cant remember whether I sent notes to profile managers of Wikitree profiles that don't square with silver book data, of which this family has some.

Since Sarah Hayward was a descendant of William White, she is the person that the silver book, Vol. 17 pages 32-35, keys on.

Mayflower lists Sarah as having 2 husbands: 1. John Grosvenor m. 1709 2. David Allen m. 1711

And besides Sarah, Mayflower only lists one other wife for David: Hannah ----- (who was named in a 1748 deed).

And the 4 children listed as those of David and Sarah - David b. 1713 Adoniram b. 1715 John b. 1717 Hannah b. ca. 1726

And I know that you have the other two wives of David, 'Deliverance' and 'Mary' listed with Ancestry sources, but knowing Ancestry as I do (see my profile for the link to my 50,000 entry Ancestry file) I would bet this is bogus information, and the 2 Mayflower-listed wives of David are all that he had.

And yes, sometimes Mayflower makes errors or misses data, but this is a very rare thing.

Hannah Craig (Allen) is my line. Many trees are incorrect linking her to "David Allen" and I see in the notes that the connection has been removed which I agree with. It is not possible. What may be possible is that Hannah is the daughter of Samuel Allen (David's brother) https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Allen-3489.

Detaching Hannah from parents David Allen and Sarah Hayward, as she was born long before her parents were married. There was a daughter Hannah, but she was born about 1726. If parents are re-attached, primary sources are needed as she is not named in the Mayflower Descendants "silver" book on the White Family.

Allen-8051 and Allen-4351 appear to represent the same person because: Same name, same parents, same husband
