Biography
Ellis Amert Allen was born on June 7, 1881, [1] in Stone Ridge, York, New Brunswick, Canada. Rainsford Allen and Matilda Estey, her father, Rainsford, was 14, and her mother, Matilda, was 23. She married Douglas Jacob Estey on January 17, 1906, [2]in Woodstock, New Brunswick, Canada. They had three children during their marriage. She died on July 4, 1987, in Woodstock, New Brunswick, Canada, at the age of 106, and was buried in Saint Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Zealand, York County, New Brunswick, Canada.[3][4][5][6]

The mix up is this: Ellis V. Allen was the daughter of "Elbridge and Annie Allen", and she was married to Orman H. Brewer.
Ellis A. Allen was the daughter of Rainsford Allen and Matilda (Estey) Allen, and she was married to Douglas J. Estey.
