Andrew Allen Jr was born 9 May 1657, the son of Andrew Allen and Faith Ingalls of Andover, Massachusetts[1][2]. He was noted in his father's will[3][4]
On January 1, 1681, he married Elizabeth Richardson, the daughter of James Richardson and Bridget Henchman/Hinksman of Chelmsford, Massachusetts[5][6][7]. Their children included[8]:
Elizabeth, born Oct. 1, 1682[1], who died unmarried May 31, 1750[9][4]
James, born March 2, 1684, who died April 18, 1707[9][4]
Andrew, born Dec. 20, 1685[1], who married Mary Dane in 1711, and who died in 1749[9][4]
Thomas, born Oct. 17, 1687[8], who died of smallpox December 18, 1690[10][4]
Sarah, born June 11, 1690[8], who died unmarried in 1742[4]
Andrew Allen Jr died in Andover of smallpox, Sept 26, 1690[10]. This was close to his father's death of smallpox, but the death record does not appear to be a duplicate, as the estate of Andrew Allen Jr was administered March 31, 1691 using a different case # than his father's estate[11]
His widow Elizabeth (Richardson Allen) died May 2, 1745 in her 79th year[9]
