Biography

Maude M. Allison was born on 22 January 1889 at Walton, Delaware County, New York.[1] She appeared on the census of 9 June 1900 in the household of her parents, Charles E. Allison and Celia Ann (Baxter) Allsion, at Hancock, Delaware Co., New York.[2] She was a cook at a boardinghouse when she appeared on the census of 9 May 1910 in the household of Charles E. Allison and Celia Ann Baxter at Eulalia Township, Potter Co., Pennsylvania.[3]

She married Charles E. Johnson on 3 July 1907 at Sweden Valley.[1][4][5]

She and Charles appeared on the census of 8 January 1920 at Shippen, Cameron County, Pennsylvania.[6] She did house work for a private family when she appeared on the census of 16 May 1930 at Emporium, Cameron County, Pennsylvania.[7] She was a widow and a house cleaner in private homes when she appeared on the census of 10 April 1940 at Emporium, Cameron County, Pennsylvania.[8]

She was in attendance when Marshall Forrest was the host of the Baxter Family Reunion held on 19 August 1951 near Coventry, New York.

She was in attendance when Kenneth Richard Tweedie and Marion Joan Schaefer were hosts of the 9th Annual Baxter Family Reunion held at their home on 19 Augugust 1956 at Roscoe, Sullivan County, New York.

Maude died on 7 July 1969 at her home in Emporium, Cameron County, Pennsylvania and was buried at Newton Cemetery. Emporium, Cameron County, Pennsylvania.[1] Her memorial has a photo of her headstone and links to those of family members.[9]
