James was born on 20 October 1650 in Boston, Massachusetts.[1] James Allison was baptized[2] at the First Church, Boston, Mass., 19 Jun 1653, the son of James and Christian Allison. Hillman[3] has birth 20 Oct 1650, in Boston, referencing "Early Records of Boston," William B Trask, comp. Also note,, a John Allison (not James), son of James and Christian Alleson, died [4] in Boston, Apr 2, 1653.
James Allison married[5] in Dorchester, Mass., May 28, 1674, Elizabeth Vasey(sic). Dorchester VR has James "of Boston;" Sprague[6] has James "of Boston & New York."
James and Elizabeth had at least two children: Elizabeth, born[7] in Boston, Dec 11, 1676; and Christian, mentioned in both her grandfather William Veazie's will, and in uncle Samuel Veazie's will.
