Came from Boonesboro, NC and settled on Cane Creek where the bridge crosses going to Luke's sawmill at an early date. His son Hog Joe, called so because he owned so many hogs, lived on the Old Walton Road.

Had a walking stick with deers horn on the top and used to play with the kids and his "hoss".

Apple & Allison families were political families. These Allison families are intermingled some way.....many served in war of 1812 and Civil War together.
